We regularly appear at public inquiries and hearings, judicial reviews and in all and any civil and criminal applications and trials with planning and environmental issues.
We assist a range of clients, from individuals, local authorities, government agencies, NGO’s, landowners, developers, objectors and other interested parties, with instructions received from professional clients and by Direct Access.
We have extensive experience in the conduct of major planning inquiries and Local Plan and UDP Inquiries, including compulsory purchase, nature conservation, energy and renewables, pollution, heritage, rating, infrastructure projects, rights of way, map modifications, village greens and minerals.
In addition to planning matters that have an environmental aspect, our Criminal Regulatory Team has experience of environmental enforcement actions and has advised and represented across a range of prosecutions.
